Tony Moly Review - Strawberry Latte Art Cream-In Scrub

When it comes to scrubs and masks I would consider myself quite the connoisseur. From clay masks to exfoliating bamboo body scrubs I know which best leaves my skin feeling toned, smooth and firm. I have always admired Tony Moly for their adorable packaging and naturalistic scents but have never tried most of their products past lip balms and general creams.

Although this scrub is designed for facial use I could not help trying a swatch of it on my hand first. The somewhat thick consistency after washing left my hand feeling rather sticky and failed to reach a lather with water. This sticky feeling stayed with my hand a while after drying. The only positive point after this experience was the strong fruity scent it left. Now, to be fair to the scrub I did not try it on my face first (I blame my impatient nature) so I therefore decided to give it another go and try it on face this time round.  When first applied to the skin, the feeling and texture was similar to that of lip gloss.

After consistent massaging for a few minutes, the mask turns white and heats on the skin. A cream then forms  and a final washing is done. Overall, I was not a huge fan of this product due to the factors I mentioned above. Although, one commendable quality to take away was the fruity scent and the rosy tint it gave my cheeks. For China however, this scrub was, to a certain degree, a revelation in the scrub and skin care department. She concluded that the soothing qualities of the cream did wonders for her skin and left her with no irritation what so ever (  an issue she finds with most creams and scrubs due to her sensitive skin). She had no trouble with the consistency and liked the addition of strawberry seeds in the  mixture.
